Commissioned Art by Melissa La Bozzetta

Melissa’s passion for creating is not just given to her original works but is poured into her various forms of commissioned art works.

Her art is not just uplifting –  it’s all encompassing. The energy in each piece draws you in and demands attention.

Commissioned works by Melissa can be a sensual addition to an intimate space, a bold statement upon entering a room or a compliment to either eclectic or subtle design in home, office or commercial spaces.

Works can be commissioned as a gift, designed to compliment a collection and can be a single or series of paintings delivered with a specific mood or space in mind. Commissions are created with your design intentions in mind or can otherwise be re-created from Melissa’s existing collection.

The Commission Process

Melissa is consistently working on commissions for clients, friends and galleries world wide. Each commission is created from images, ideas or a concept supplied by the client, or as a unique replication of her existing work .

After your enquiry, Melissa guides you through the process to evolve your ideas into a work of art. If you have questions on style, medium, colours or dimensions, she is there to help.

You work with the artist to develop your concept and bring your commission to life.

Melissa can create works in a variety of mediums including sketch, charcoal, watercolours, as well as printmaking or mixed media using a combination of digital artwork and art mediums. The art work can be abstract, interpretive, portrait or she can bring to life an existing print with artwork on top.

The artwork is designed to to suit your needs and the space it is created for.

The fee for a commission varies depending on size, the chosen medium and how detailed the artwork will be. Consideration is made on the finished product, whether it be a canvas, or a framed work. A quote will be provided for you before the artwork is started. Once the quote is approved, a 50% deposit is requested in order for the project to start.

Timelines will vary depending on the scale of the artwork and the time Melissa typically takes to make her work. Melissa will give you an estimate of how long the work will take to complete.
